During the 2010 WSOP, Phil "The Unabomber" Laak set the Guinness world record for the most hours of poker played in a single session playing for 115 hours, smashing Paul Zimbler's unofficial record set at the 2009 WSOPE of 78 hours, 25 minutes and 45 seconds. When Laak broke Zimbler's record he announced, "There's a new sicko in town!"

Playing $10/$20 no-limit holdem, Phil started the session on June 2 at the Bellagio poker room in Las Vegas. He was joined intermittently by poker pros Scotty Nguyen, Andrew Robl, Thuy Doan, and his good friend Antonio Esfandiari. He was also cheered on by his Hollywood girlfriend Jennifer Tilly. 

After the enduro session, Phil was up $6,466 and is donating half of his earnings to Camp Sunshine.org, a charity which supports children with life threatening illnesses. Laak also earned a $1000 donation from "Kaz" after being challenged to do 30 pushups; Phil did 32 shortly after the 60 hour mark.

It is up to Guinness to decide the official final playing time after taking into account breaks away from the table.
