News: Beatiful Kara Scott confirmed for HSP

Kara Scott is the confirmed new hostess for High Stakes Poker, the show now will be more like Poker After dark (both tv shows are owned by the same company), Kara acting as an on-scene hostess while Gabe commentates solo.

 

Many fans think that changing the Kaplan / Benza team is a bad choice, what do you think? Opinions are split.

 

Either way  Season 6 High Stakes Poker (premiere on GSN next Valentine’s Day, 14th FEB 2010) will be awesome to watch imho.

I liked the girl they used to have on WPT before Sabina. But you know what? These chicks are just eye candy really. Gabe won't be able to have the ongoing rivalry that he had with Benza. Staged or not, it was entertaining and provided a nice comedic balance to the show. That will be gone now completely. Bad move by the producers. WSOP has a great commentary team with knowledge and humor, as does WPT. High Stakes just went all in with seven deuce offsuit ...

Gabe/Benza double act is the best commentary team on any poker show imo. Gabe needs the straight guy to bounce off. I love Gabe's observations, not just relating to the poker hands but of the players themselves. The things they say, the reasons for saying them, their behaviour, personality, attire ect...

You just don't get that on any other show. Poker After Dark has the worst commentary. At times it can be mind-numbing. Can you imagine how better it would be with Gabe/Benza in the booth?
